Other Community Planning Advocacy efforts have included participating in the Bryan Place Planned Development District, c. 1988; participating in the Gaston Avenue Planned Development District, c. 1998; recruiting buyers for vacant building in Deep Ellum, c. 1985; lobbying for parking concessions for the Old Lakewood Library, c. 1974; and for citywide codes to be modified to allow continued existence of older storefronts.
